Even though the Grand Alliance stopped coming to the majority in Bihar assembly election results, Tejashwi Yadav has not given up hope of becoming the chief minister yet. The RJD leader is in touch with two smaller parties of the NDA for this.
Party sources say that the RJD has approached Mukesh Sahni of the vikasshil Insan Party and Jeetan Ram Manjhi of Hindustani Awam Morcha. The source admitted that the RJD has not received any positive response so far but the party says that “our doors will be open”. The RJD source said that Mukesh Sahni wants to become deputy CM and the party can give him this post. It is known that the Grand Alliance has got 110 seats in this election.
This MGB needs 12 more MLAs to form the government. The party source says that after joining with these two parties, they will have the requisite number of forces to get a majority if Owaisi’s AIMIM come with them. Mukesh Sahni and Jeetan Ram Manjhi left the Grand Alliance and joined the NDA just before the elections.
VIP chief Mukesh Sahni himself has lost the election from Simri Bakhtiarpur seat this time. At the same time, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party has won 4 seats. A RJD source said what is the harm in trying? If VIPs and HAMs (S) come to us, we can ensure that they can get the very good benefits that NDA cant give them.
On the other hand, AIMIM is ready to support us in any case. A VIP source confirmed RJD’s offer but indicated that there was no possibility of changing the frost. “We are being offered the position of deputy CM and a minister. We discussed this with our leaders.
The source said that the RJD had abandoned us and we are happy with the NDA. Also, if we change the ground so soon, it will send a wrong message to our cadre. A HAM (S) leader also confirmed a proposal from RJD. We the leader said that there is no question of going back to the RJD. We have not forgotten our insult yet. NDA will take good care of us.
