The opposition of the Central Government’s decision to shift the railway institute from Jamalpur in Bihar to Lucknow has started in Bihar. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has written a letter to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal urging him to withdraw the decision immediately. Explain that the Jamalpur Institute is one of the oldest railway institutes in Bihar.

On the other hand, Bihar government minister and JDU leader Sanjay Jha on Wednesday tweeted one decision after another, asking the Center to reconsider it. Sanjay Jha tweeted on Wednesday, writing, “Not only the people of Bihar but thousands of people and officials of Indian Railways have got emotional connection with this oldest central institute of Indian Railways in Jamalpur. In light of the letter written by Nitish Kumar on 1 May, there is a request for immediate intervention from Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. ”

He wrote in the next tweet, “The 93-year-old IRIME has been an integral part of the glorious history of Jamalpur, Bihar and Railways. Since 1927 it has been training top railway officials. On the order of the Railway Minister to take it out of Bihar, Nitish Kumar has requested for reconsideration. ”

Sources say that there are plans to shift the railway institute from Jamalpur in Bihar to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha has also objected to this decision. He tweeted on Tuesday that this decision of the central government in the lockdown could have very bad effects. The Bihar government should also strongly oppose it.

He further said, “At present, the impact of such a big decision is not in the interest of the state governments. This decision of the Central Government is quite unfortunate. The Railway Training Institute in Jamalpur has been doing its job well for decades. But in the hour of this disaster, the central government is cooking only its political bread.
