Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday targeted PM Narendra Modi, calling him ‘Surender’ (surrender) Modi instead of Narendra Modi and accused him of surrendering to China and giving that Indian territory. Rahul tweeted, “Narendra Modi is truly Surender Modi.”

The Congress leader said on Saturday that Modi had surrendered to the Chinese encroachment in Indian territory. He made this statement after the Prime Minister said that Chinese troops had not infiltrated Indian territory.

Significantly, on June 15, 20 Indians including an officer were killed in violent clashes with soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army of China in Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh, since then the opposition has been continuously targeting the ruling party.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement after an all-party meeting on the issue of violent clashes in Galvan. In fact, PM Modi said that neither one has entered our border nor any of our posts are in the possession of any other. Our 20 bravehearts were martyred in Ladakh, but those who had raised their eyes towards Mother India went to teach them a lesson.

This statement of Prime Minister Modi was questioned by Rahul Gandhi and asked that if that land was from China, where Indian soldiers were martyred then why were our soldiers killed? Where were they killed?
