Assembly elections are to be held in West Bengal after about six months. BJP and TMC are ready to put full emphasis in elections. CM Mamata Banerjee has started campaigning. On 25 November, Banerjee targeted the BJP at a rally and described the party as ‘the garbage of lies’ and ‘the biggest curse to the country’.
Mamta Banerjee said that even if BJP arrests her, she will ensure TMC’s victory in the assembly elections from jail itself. Assembly elections are expected in Bengal in April-May of 2021.
Mamta Banerjee has accused BJP of trying to call TMC MLAs into their camp by offering bribe. Without naming anyone, Mamta said that some people are deceived that BJP will come to power in the state.
BJP is not a political party, but it is a garbage of lies. Whenever elections come, they take up the case of Narada Sting and Saradha scam and try to intimidate TMC leaders. But let me be clear about one thing. I am not afraid of BJP or its agencies. If they have courage then put me in jail. I will contest from jail and ensure TMC victory.

Mamta remembered Lalu Prasad Yadav
Talking about the Bihar election, Mamata Banerjee said that RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav was put in jail but still he ensured the good performance of his party.
Banerjee said, “BJP’s victory in Bihar comes from manipulation, not from popular mandate.” Banerjee claimed that TMC will once again form the government in Bengal and the BJP has no chance of coming to power. TMC has been in power in West Bengal since 2011.
