A day before the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) imposed a ban on Yes Bank on withdrawal up to  50,000/- per account holder, Vadodara’s Smart City Development Company, a special company associated with Vadodara Municipal Corporation, withdrawn Rs 265 crore from Yes Bank.

Sudhir Patel, Chief Executive Officer of Vadodara Smart City Development Company and Deputy Commissioner of Vadodara Municipal Corporation said that this amount was received from the Central Government as a part of the grant received under the Smart City Mission and deposited in a permanent branch of Yes Bank

He said that to see the difficulties faced by Yes Bank, it was withdrawn before two days of ban and transferred to a new account of Bank of Baroda.

Let me tell you that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has fixed the withdrawal limit from Yes Bank, which is facing cash crisis.

After this order of RBI, now customers will not be able to withdraw more than 50,000/- rupees in a month. According to the RBI, at present, this prohibition will continue from March 5 to April 3.
