In the midst of political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is busy destabilizing the elected government of the state. He also said that the price of crude oil has come down by 35 per cent in the international market. In such a situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi should reduce the price of petrol by Rs 60 per liter.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted tauntingly citing the political developments in Madhya Pradesh, tweeting, ‘Prime Minister, when you were busy destabilizing an elected government, you might not have seen a 35 per cent drop in the price of crude oil globally.
Rahul Gandhi asked, ‘Will you benefit Indian citizens by bringing petrol price below 60 rupees?’ He said that the reduction in the price of petroleum products would help in accelerating the sluggish economy.
