Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said in a tweet on Monday that ‘we condemn it clearly.’ He has also raised the question whether China has ever tried to influence the policies of the government through this?

This report states that Zenhua Data Information Technology Co. A data company called Limited is a log file named Overseas Key Information Database (OKIDB), which has many Indian leaders, big tech companies and many other names being spied. It includes people like President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Justice of India SA Bobde, CDS Bipin Rawat, Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and JP Nadda. Apart from this, many cabinet ministers including the Chief Ministers of many states of the country are also included in this list. From the owners of tech startups Bharat Pe and AuthBridge to big businessmen like Ratan Tata and Gautam Adani are also in this list.

In this database of ‘foreign targets’, more than 10,000 Indians are being spied in real time. The company in Shenzhen city, which has described itself as a leader in ‘new life in the Chinese nation’ and ‘hybrid warfare’, has been found to have links with the Chinese government.
