Amit Shah on Sunday assured the people of West Bengal that the Bharatiya Janata Party would make the state free of infiltrators if it’s voted to power in the forthcoming Assembly elections. He also warned that the saffron party would take action against the Trinamool Congress for its “wrongdoings”.
During an election rally in West Bengal’s Egra, Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Didi gave the slogan of ‘Maa, maati, manush‘ but did change come? Can she give you freedom from infiltrators? We will make Bengal free of infiltrators in 5 years.”
“Our 130 cadres were killed. Goons of Trinamool Congress shouldn’t think that they will be spared. We will take action when our government comes to power in West Bengal on May 2,” he added.
Amit Shah is expected to release the BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections later today.
